The Yards play Rock Island Live on Wednesday, August 5th, from 6 to 9 PM on the West Truss. The Lawrence, Kansas quartet has been making original instrumental soul funk since 2000. Their newest album, Crooked Road Sessions, came out of a weekend of playing together on a farm in Holton, Kansas. Three hours of groove on the historic Rock Island Bridge, with the sun setting over the Kansas River.
Here’s What to Expect:
- Three hours of instrumental soul funk from The Yards, 6 to 9 PM
- Original music going back to 2000, including the new Crooked Road Sessions

- Free admission, plus food and drinks on site
