Eddie Moore plays Rock Island Live on Sunday, August 9th, from 12 to 3 PM in the American Royal Hall. The Houston-raised, Kansas City-based pianist came here to study under Bobby Watson at UMKC and stayed. He leads the jazz fusion group Eddie Moore & The Outer Circle and teaches at the University of Kansas. Three hours of it on the historic Rock Island Bridge, above the Kansas River.
