Vintage rock hooks, five voices in harmony, and a frontman from Limerick.
Carswell & Hope play Rock Island Live on Saturday, August 8th, from 8 to 11 PM in the River Garden. The Lawrence, Kansas five-piece formed in 2012 after frontman Nick Carswell moved from Limerick, Ireland to the Midwest. They build vintage-leaning alt rock around big harmonies, with all five members singing. Three hours of it outdoors on the historic Rock Island Bridge, above the Kansas River.
Here’s What to Expect:
- Three hours of live alt rock from Carswell & Hope, 8 to 11 PM
- Big harmonies from a band where all five members sing
- Songs from Sign of the Times and earlier releases
- Free admission, plus food and drinks on site
- A Saturday night outdoors in the River Garden with the Kansas River below you
