Rock Island Salsa Dance Night takes over the River Garden on July 25th, with check-in at 6:45 PM, a beginner-friendly dance lesson from 7:30 to 8:30 PM, and social dancing with DJ Lobo Azteca until 12:30 AM. Hosted by Baila and Connect LLC, the night moves through salsa, bachata, cumbia, merengue, and more, with food and drinks available for purchase all evening. All ages are welcome and parking is free. There aren’t many dance floors with a river underneath them.
Here’s What to Expect:
- A beginner-friendly dance lesson from 7:30 to 8:30 PM, no partner required
- Social dancing until 12:30 AM with DJ Lobo Azteca spinning salsa, bachata, cumbia, and merengue
- Food and drinks available for purchase all night
- An all-ages night with free parking (teens $5, children free)
- A night of Latin dancing with the Kansas River and KC skyline as your backdrop
