Self-taught on harmonica at seven, and tearing up Beale Street not long after.
Brody Buster brings his blues to the Rock Island Bridge on June 24th. The Kansas City artist has shared stages with Quincy Jones, Chaka Khan, Keb Mo, and BB King himself, and in 2017 he took first place for Best Harmonica Player at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. After a hard stretch, he got sober, refocused on family and music, and poured all of it into his first full-band studio album, “Redemption.” That story, and that sound, hit different above the Kansas River.
Here’s What to Expect:
- A live blues set from Kansas City’s Brody Buster
- Award-winning harmonica from an International Blues Challenge champion
- Songs from his self-produced album “Redemption”
- A night of live music with the Kansas River and KC skyline as your backdrop
