Kick off paddling season on the Rock Island Bridge with Paddle KC.
Join Kansas City’s largest paddling community for a one-of-a-kind evening celebrating the start of their 12th season — right here on the bridge. Whether you’re brand new to the water or a seasoned MR340 racer, this is your chance to connect with fellow kayakers, paddleboarders, and canoeists over dinner, drinks, and a sneak peek at the adventures ahead.
Here’s What to Expect:
- Dinner and drinks from River House Restaurant on the bridge
- A first look at 2026 paddling trips, training, and social events
- Guided tours of the newly opened Rock Island Bridge
- Paddler trivia, raffle prizes, and a slideshow of past adventures
Open to all Kansas City area kayak, paddleboard, and canoe owners — not just Paddle KC members. Bring a friend who paddles.

Join us for lunch or dinner—our dining room and walk-up window are open daily.
From 11 AM to 3 PM, enjoy the casual Rock Island Eats lunch menu, featuring comfort-food favorites and quick bites.
Beginning at 3 PM, we serve the River House dinner menu, featuring Midwest lake-house favorites, coastal smokehouse flavors, cocktails, and scenic river views.
Prefer to grab your food and go enjoy the rest of the bridge? The walk-up window (Rock Island Eats) is open for both lunch and dinner.
