La Placita Market comes to the Rock Island Bridge on Saturday, May 9th, setting up on the West Truss from 8 AM to 1 PM. It’s an incubator market built for the local Hispanic community, giving up-and-coming vendors, makers, and small businesses a place to get their start and share their goods above the Kansas River. Come shop straight from your neighbors, bring the whole family, and let the kids and dogs roam free while you browse.
Here’s What to Expect:
- Emerging local vendors and fresh goods from the Hispanic community
- A pop-up bike presence in the park from 8 AM to 2 PM, ride over or roll in
- Family and pet friendly atmosphere with free admission
- A Saturday morning of good finds, good company, and open skies above the river
