Drums, rhythm, and community gather above the Kansas River.
The Kansas City Drum Tribe brings its Full Moon Drum Circle to Rock Island Bridge on the last Sunday of every month, May through September, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Each date is timed near the full moon. The circle gathers on the first floor at the far end of the bridge, past the restaurants, and it’s built around one simple idea: the rhythm belongs to everyone.
Here’s What to Expect:
- A community drum circle open to all experience levels, from first-timers to seasoned players
- Hosted space led by Jessica Snyder and Jo Burke, with clear guidelines to keep the circle respectful and welcoming
- Room for dancers, listeners, and learners in addition to drummers
- An evening of shared rhythm, open air, and good people on one of Kansas City’s most unique outdoor stages
This event is free and open to the public.
