Give an hour, save a life, and rep the Kingdom.
The Community Blood Center sets up on the Rock Island Bridge on Friday, August 14th for a blood drive above the Kansas River. From 2:00 to 6:00 PM, donors can give at the Donor Bus parked at 1799 American Royal Drive, right at the base of Kansas City’s newest landmark. It’s a quick, simple way to help hospital patients across the metro. Every donor also gets entered to win a Kansas City Chiefs AFC West Home Turf ticket package.
Here’s What to Expect:
- Donations at the Donor Bus, 1799 American Royal Drive, 2:00 to 6:00 PM
- Entry to win a Kansas City Chiefs AFC West Home Turf ticket package
- About an hour of your time that helps local hospital patients
- A good deed and good company above the Kansas River
Before you go: Donors must be 17 or older (or 16 with a signed parental consent form), meet minimum weight requirements, and bring a photo ID. Eat well and hydrate beforehand, and come in feeling well. Full guidelines are at savealifenow.org/eligibility.
