The event has passed.
Events Description
Good cause, good company, and a finish line worth running for.
The Armourdale Community 5K Run and Walk starts and finishes on the Rock Island Bridge this year, a first for the race. Hosted by the Armourdale Renewal Association, the morning raises money for youth programs and community work in the Armourdale neighborhood. The course is fast and flat, and every fitness level is welcome, whether you’re chasing a PR or walking with the kids. It’s a morning run with the Kansas City skyline in view and a whole neighborhood behind you.
Here’s What to Expect:
- A fast, flat 5K run or walk that starts and finishes on the Rock Island Bridge
- Finisher medals for every participant, plus race T-shirts while supplies last
- Age group awards for top finishers, from 12 and under to 60+
- Race morning packet pickup before the 8 AM start
- A morning of runners, walkers, and families showing up for Armourdale
Registration is $40. Sign up at RunSignup and grab your spot on the start line.
